The Business Forum celebrated TEN years of building strong business relationships by holding a party at the Riverside Marquee, Bray on Thursday 15th June 2017.
“Over the last TEN years, the Business Forum has become established as a high quality business networking group for senior business leaders from across the Thames Valley,” said founder and organiser Sue Dormer of Tradewind Marketing. “I never guessed when I set the group up ten years ago, that it would grow to become such a successful and well-respected group. I am delighted that the members are so enthusiastic and loyal.”
The members of the Business Forum meet on the first Thursday of every month to listen to inspirational speakers and to learn from each other. The group has a wealth of experience amongst its members and some serious business partnerships have been established amongst the members.
At the party, the members celebrated with an evening of good food, excellent company and some relaxing moments listening to an outstanding jazz band, playing lawn games (croquet & giant jenga) and taking leisurely trips down the River Thames on a launch.
Cathy Jenkins of MAXX Design, one of the first members to join the Business Forum ten years ago commented: “I am proud to be one of the members who joined in the first year of the Forum and is still attending regularly today. Over the years MAXX has benefited from the sound business knowledge and advice of some seriously sound busi9ness minds and looking back, I k now many of the key decisions that we have taken to grow the business have come either directly or indirectly from people I have met through this excellent networking group. Many of the members I now consider mentors and friends and I’m looking forward to another 10 years of learning and laughing!”
Many thanks to Gardner Leader LLP for sponsoring the Party.
